2. FCapture on your Mac
FCapture is a screenshot app for macOS. The app processes the screen content you select locally on your Mac. It requires no user account, contains no advertising and uses no analytics or tracking services of its own. FCapture does not upload your screenshots to the provider’s servers.
Your capture is processed in memory and, depending on your choice, saved as a PNG file to a location you select or copied to the macOS clipboard. Screenshots may contain personal or confidential information. You decide which area to capture and how to use the image afterwards.
3. Screen recording permission and file access
FCapture needs macOS screen recording permission to take screenshots. Access is used solely for captures you initiate. You can revoke this permission in your Mac’s System Settings at any time. Capturing is not possible without this permission.
The app uses App Sandbox. When saving, you select the destination file through the macOS save dialog. Optional launch at login is managed by macOS.
4. Clipboard, syncing and retention
Saved screenshots remain at the selected location until you delete them. Removing the app does not delete these image files. Clipboard contents are managed by macOS and may be replaced by new content.
If you choose a synced folder such as iCloud Drive or use Apple’s Universal Clipboard, data may be transferred to other devices or services according to your system settings. Such transfers are performed by the operating system or the service you choose. The relevant provider’s privacy information applies to that processing.
5. Website visits and hosting

6. Cookies, fonts and external content
This website itself sets no cookies and uses neither local storage nor analytics or advertising services. Images and stylesheets are served from its own webspace. Text uses system fonts available on your device; no external fonts, videos or social media widgets are embedded.
External websites are only opened when you follow their links. The respective provider’s privacy information applies on the destination website.

8. Mac App Store
When you obtain or update FCapture through the Mac App Store, Apple processes data under its own responsibility, such as account, device or payment information. Apple’s privacy information applies. Store processing is separate from the app’s local screenshot functionality.
9. Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly where you live or where the controller is based. In North Rhine-Westphalia, this is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia. To exercise your rights, contact support@fkm.app.
10. Automated decisions and changes
We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling. This policy will be updated if FCapture, this website or the relevant circumstances change.
